Constitution Village
We had a great time on our trip to Huntsville. We stepped back in time and learned a lot! The amazing thing was seeing how much the kids remembered from our previous lessons on American history!! I was one proud teacher!
Roel is learning to to use the Printing Press where they made Newspapers.
We watched the Blacksmith make a nail with iron.
Enrique is learning how to make candles.
Betsy Ross lost part of her script because my students spilled out so much information about her life!! She was impressed with their knowledge.
Adolfo is learning how to carve spindles for chairs.
Reece and his grandmother tried knitting the old-fashioned way.
We made an old-fashioned spinning toy.
We made corn-husk dolls.
Night of the Arts
Families came to visit. Children came to sing. And they all shared their beautiful artwork that they created with Mrs. Hall.

Experimenting With Oobleck!!
We learned about a non-Newtonian fluid which can be a liquid and a solid state of Matter. The children really enjoyed this experiment.
We used 1 part water to 2 parts corn starch. Food coloring can be added to make it look colorful.
